Pickled Pig & Whistling Weasel on a plate at Granny Mouse


Pickled Pig, Whistling Weasel, Tiddly Toad and Pye-eyed Possum were the order of the day at the chefs table at the Granny Mouse’s Country House Eaves Restaurant.

A challenge was set to the chefs of the kitchen – to imagine the executive chef was away, and they have to take the lead in the kitchen. Add to that the little twist in the tail – dishes were to be infused with Nottingham Road Brewery’s finest offerings.  The resulting menu was our treat!

We happily played Guinea Pig, and sampled the fine food artistry that was presented by the talented chefs at Granny Mouse’s Country House.  This was a carefully planned experiment, and I can’t wait to see which of these delicious courses will land on the new seasonal Eaves Restaurant menu!
