Beverly Hills – The Sugar Club Afternoon Tea

Tea is Now Served – The Beverly Hills serves up a bespoke afternoon tea experience.

We were lucky enough to be invited to sample some of the delicacies on offer for the Beverly Hills Afternoon Tea at The Sugar Club Restaurant, with breathtaking Indian Ocean views from the upper terrace of the hotel.

Live musician playing in the background,  the elegant and classic atmosphere is perfect for a traditional Afternoon Tea, and the buffet spread on offer is nothing short of wonderful.  From handmade meringues to individual tartlets and cakes of every flavour your heart desires to the full-flavoured and distinctly high quality tea from a wide selection by german tea brand Ronnefeldt, everything is “just right”.

Gourmet Finger sandwiches and chic pastries adorn the savoury table, with tartlets, nibbles and croissants to suit any palette.  The sweet table is just an absolute indulgence, with honeycomb, chocolate bark, coconut ice and various cakes, including the pride-of-place “cake of the day”.  Everything is made fresh – and seasonal by the dedicated team at the Beverly Hills.  The look is finished with gorgeous William Kilburn by Maxwell Williams crockery.

To further enhance your experience there’s also the option of a glass (or bottle!) of bubbly – because there’s always a reason to celebrate at the Beverly Hills!

The Signature Afternoon Tea Buffet is available in The Sugar Club every Friday & Saturday afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30.
Afternoon tea is priced at R265 per person
