This month the Oyster Box’s Palm Court Restaurant is offering to take you on an American Roadtrip – with a dinner that will thrill almost as much as the trip itself would!
The menu features American favourites as well as American flavours with an OB twist – one of my favourite dishes has to be their incredible Nik Nak Chicken – it’s chicken strips with a difference! I absolutely adore this venue, and the USA theme transforms the whole place and transports you to a foodie adventure.
We had the aforementioned Nik Nak Chicken and Loaded Potato Skins for Starters, and they did not disappoint! Mains was the fall-off-the-bone coca-cola braised “Low & Slow” Short Rib and the New Orleans Pulled Pork Burger – my what a pile of food!
Dessert was a New York Style Baked Cheesecake and a slice of authentic Pumpkin Pie, served with cinnamon ice-cream and a delicious caramel sauce.
The presentation of all of the meals is quirky and very well executed – I just loved my chicken in a ‘lil take-away box – there is just the right amount of played back american style, melded with the typical Oyster Box service levels. What a treat!
