More great things to do in Durban as Logos Hope has made her first ever visit to the city!
Today saw the official opening of the worlds largest floating book fair, and she will be open to the public until the 3rd of April 2016.
Logos Hope is more than just a floating book fair with a selection of over 5000 titles. The 400 crew members are all volunteers, and work hard to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate. They provide training on running libraries, First Air, Hygiene, Healthcare & HIV. Logos Hope also provides significant relief in many countries. This help includes supplying material aid, building & renovating houses, installing water purifiers and providing general help in communities. Temporary health clinics provide free dental treatment, eye testing & eyeglasses as well as general health checks.
Visit Logos Hope, entrance is R5 for adults, and kids under 12 enter for free with an adult.
During her time in Durban, the Logos Hope offers some cool activities and events too! So who said there aren’t enough things to do in Durban!?
