Every now and then a casual mid-week treat is exactly what the doctor ordered. This event hosted by Ebb & Flo is bound to soothe your overworked soul and tantalise your tastebuds!  Wine tasting presented by Mike from VDP and a talk through the wines, with tasting glasses, while they serve you flavours from their Harvest Table by Chef Brendon Newport

This Thursday the 23rd June from 6pm – Ebb & Flo is inviting you to join in on an amazing experience!

Price:  R150 per person

Dave Pollock from VDP will explain why he chose some specific wines to be paired with Chef Brendon Newport’s autumn flavours menu

Ebb & Flo

Arrival canapes
Small flatbreads with seared beef strips, bok choy salad, wasabi butter, soy & ginger vinaigrette
Longridge Brut

Plate One – a rustic Italian vegetarian dish
Layered aubergine slices filled with spinach & Ricotta. Baked with an Italian tomato sauce and served with grated Grana Padana
Paired with a Chenin Blanc

Plate Two – Pasta time
Handmade prawn ravioli served with Gorgonzola cream and candied pecan nuts
Paired with the Longridge Emily 2016

Plate Three – Pesto chicken
Panfried rest pesto chicken breast with oregano & green olives served on zucchini spaghetti. Topped with Ricotta cheese
Paired with a Pinotage

Dessert
Served with house brewed Spicy Orange Green Tea or wine top ups
Piped doughnuts, dusted with autumn spices and warm chilli chocolate sauce
